Unicode styles, effects and text utilities
Text Tools
Choose an online text tool by the change you need: ordinary letter case, copyable Unicode styles or a decorative effect. Start with Fancy to compare styles, or open a focused converter for a specific task. Conversion runs in your browser; keep the original when trying different looks.
Fancy Text Generator
Compare 20 Unicode styles on the same source, filter the grid and copy a result. Start here when you want to explore several looks before choosing one.
- 20 styles
- One-click copy
- Private
Bold Text Generator
Choose serif or sans-serif bold, with bold italic alternatives. Regular bold rows also style digits; italic variants preserve them.
- 4 styles
- Bold digits in upright rows
Cursive Text Generator
Compare regular and bold script letters for short names, greetings and sign-offs. Digits stay ordinary; this does not generate handwriting images.
- 2 script weights
- Digits preserved
Italic Text Generator
Compare four slanted letter sets for short accents. The output is Unicode text, not Markdown, HTML or a document’s italic formatting.
- 4 italic styles
- Unicode output
Gothic Text Generator
Try regular and bold Fraktur for themed names or headings. This changes letter shapes without translating into Old English or producing a font file.
- 2 Fraktur weights
- Letters only
Small Text Generator
Choose small capitals or superscript. Check incomplete letter mappings; the page has no subscript mode or font-size adjustment.
- 2 modes
- Superscript digits
Upside Down Text Generator
Reverse character order and substitute supported turned forms. This differs from plain backwards text and does not rotate an image.
- Reversal + turned letters
- Approximate mappings
Zalgo Text Generator
Add combining marks with three intensity levels and regenerate the pattern. Output length and the destination’s line spacing can limit the effect.
- 3 intensities
- Regenerate
- Length-capped
Case Converter
Change ordinary text into uppercase, lowercase and other case formats. Use it for editing letter case rather than replacing letters with decorative characters.
- 8 modes
- Real-time
- Character stats

Edit ordinary text or decorate its letters?
For headings, documents and everyday text editing, use Case Converter to change letter case. For a copyable decorative alphabet, choose a style generator. These text formatting tools do not replace a document editor’s font and paragraph controls.
Compare first, then use a focused page
Fancy shows all 20 styles together. Once you know you want bold, cursive, gothic or small letters, the focused page offers fewer choices and explains that style’s coverage. Your original input follows you when switching within the text-tool family.
Test one short example in the destination
A bio, display name and account handle can have different rules. Paste a sample before saving a name or publishing a post. Keep URLs, contact details and important instructions in ordinary text; decorative characters do not guarantee the same reading or rendering everywhere.
Keep your source and check conversion limits
The style tools process the first 2,000 Unicode code points while preserving the full input. Zalgo also limits its output to 20,000 code points. Case Converter has no corresponding input cap. Clearing a shared input clears it across text tools, and reloading starts a new session.
Text tools FAQ
Which text tool should I start with?
Choose Fancy Text Generator if you are comparing looks. Choose a focused page when you already know you want bold, cursive, italic, gothic, small, upside-down or Zalgo text. Use Case Converter for ordinary uppercase and lowercase changes.
Are these online text tools free?
Yes. They require no account and process conversions in your browser. They have tool-specific processing limits, so a long source or dense Zalgo result may be converted only in part with a visible notice.
Are the decorative outputs real fonts?
They are Unicode characters rather than downloadable TTF or OTF files. The receiving app still uses a font to draw them. A successful copy does not guarantee that a particular field accepts or displays every character.
Do the Chinese and Japanese pages convert those scripts into calligraphy?
No. The interface and instructions are localized, but the style mappings mainly cover Latin letters and selected digits. Unmapped characters are preserved. Upside-down text can change their order, and Zalgo adds marks according to its own rules.
Will switching tools keep my original text?
Yes, within the text-tool family during the same browser page session. Each tool uses the shared source rather than another tool’s result. Clearing it affects the other text tools too; reloading or closing the page does not preserve a saved copy.
Can I restore ordinary text from a decorated result?
There is no general remove-styling tool in this collection yet. Case Converter changes case; it is not a universal Unicode-style decoder. Keep the plain source and switch tools using that source instead of repeatedly converting an output.
Are these full text editing tools?
They handle specific transformations, not full document editing. The current collection does not offer paragraph layout, grammar correction, AI writing or image-based handwriting. Choose the tool whose actual preview matches your task.
Can I use styled text in every social or game profile?
Acceptance varies by app and field. Test a short sample in the exact destination and choose ordinary text if it is rejected or unclear. The collection does not guarantee platform compatibility or bypass username restrictions.
